Proposal for a suggested Focused Conference (i.e. series of sessions) in the WCP2014 Scientific Programme

A Focused Conference on a relevant theme comprises of multiple sessions (each via separate submission). A focused conference may have two to six sessions, thereby spanning one to three days within the scientific programme. This proposal defines the over-arching theme of the conference, as well as the number of sessions and their titles. Whereas the general idea is to include basic, translational and clinical aspects of a theme within a focussed conference, there may also be good reason to have more basic or more clinical Focussed Conferences. Please note that we are only interested in suggested themes/titles of Sessions at this stage. Deadline for submission of this proposal: 29 Feb 2012. Full and final proposals will be invited once this information has been formalised into a Programme Draft (expected 2nd half of 2012). Any proposals will be used by the Organisers to decide on proposed Focused Conferences or any ideas forthcoming from this questionnaire. For any enquiries, please send an e-mail to  programme@wcp2014.org. Please note that no messages will be attended to between 15 Dec 2011 and 5 Jan 2012.
